I have been thinking about making a pair of meaningful paper crafts and decided to make two views of our house - a front view and the back view during our two favorite seasons - spring and fall. I finished the house one first with a design to turn the lights on. 

I love black irises. They are very elegant and noble. Made one with crepe paper. Looks super cute in our dining room. 

It took me 5 days to finish this craft piece, a paper sculpture to depict Mush - our baby dog.

Designing a product is always fun as we discover new ideas and inspirations in the process of building - the lighting and the flowers were not part of the original design but ideas that came along the way.

We should never be concerned that the product is not “good enough”. And don’t be afraid of making mistakes - the lilies turned out to be great by themselves. The only thing we need to do is simply “get started”.

Had this paper sculpture design in my mind for several months. I want to see if I can make a home decoration of my cat, Cho, using paper. It’s funny that it must be uncanny to Cho and she attacked it, lol.

I really thought the dragon was the hardest to put together, but this ship brought the difficulty to another level! It took me a whole Saturday to put it together. The completed product looks amazing though. 

It is the magical pumpkin carriage from Cinderella. My mom likes this one way more than the dragon - she is always my little fairy. I also played with the video editing so the video turns out to be pretty cute. :D

This dragon took me a full evening to execute. Amazing amount of details on the raw metal material. I was thinking about installing a lighter in the belly of the dragon so it can produce "Dracarys". But then I have to learn the structure of a lighter so I can break it down and find a way to install the trigger. For another day!

Did not intend to make the Jinx' butterfly but it did appear to be pretty similar. So I took one step further and added some features. Well here we go - a start of new series. 

Designed this chess box to hold all my origami handmade chess pieces. The silver and golden girls represents the chess pawns.

Designed and put this piece together at the end of 2022.

Designed and made this jellyfish lamp. Used two layers to depict the jellyfish to give it more dimension.

This is the 5.5 hours process of making this paper craft. It is unexpectedly hard to put all the pieces together, but the final product is super cute.
